1. Will this 15-inch head unit fit my Jeep?

This system is designed for:

  • Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU 2018–2023
  • Jeep Gladiator JT 2020–2023
  • Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon, Willys and High Altitude trims
  • 2-door and 4-door models
  • Left-hand-drive vehicles only

This 15-inch version is not compatible with right-hand-drive vehicles.

2. How can I confirm compatibility before ordering?

Please send us:

  • A clear photo of the original dashboard and radio
  • Vehicle model, year and trim
  • Confirmation that the vehicle is left-hand drive
  • Whether your Jeep has an Alpine premium audio system or factory amplifier
  • Whether it has the original reversing camera

We will confirm the correct version, wiring harness and accessories for your vehicle.

3. Will it fit a Jeep Wrangler JK or a 2024+ Wrangler?

This version is specifically designed for Wrangler JL/JLU 2018–2023 and Gladiator JT 2020–2023. Do not order it for a JK or 2024+ model unless compatibility has been confirmed by our team.

4. Will the 15-inch screen block the air vents or climate controls?

No. The installation kit includes specially designed air-duct extensions that relocate the center air vents below the 15-inch display. This maintains normal airflow and creates a clean, integrated layout similar to newer Jeep models, while keeping the original climate controls fully accessible.

5. Will my factory steering-wheel controls still work?

The supplied CANBUS interface is designed to retain supported steering-wheel audio, call and menu controls. Available functions may vary depending on the original radio and vehicle configuration.

6. Can I keep the original reversing camera?

The system supports the factory reversing camera on compatible Jeep configurations. Some vehicles may require an additional camera adapter, which we will confirm before shipping.

7. Does it work with the Alpine premium audio system or factory amplifier?

Compatible versions can support selected factory-amplified audio systems. Please send us a photo of the original radio and confirm whether your Jeep has Alpine audio before ordering so we can prepare the correct wiring accessories.

8. Will the original vehicle settings and information still work?

Yes. The system retains the original vehicle settings and vehicle information display on compatible Jeep models, including supported steering-wheel controls, factory reversing camera, original audio functions and vehicle data.

The only current limitation is the Jeep Wrangler 4xe hybrid-specific interface and Hybrid Mode, which are not yet supported. Compatibility for the hybrid system is currently under development.

9. Does it support both wireless and wired Apple CarPlay?

Yes. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while also providing a wired Apple CarPlay connection through USB.

Wired CarPlay is a useful option if your phone has difficulty maintaining mobile-data access while connected wirelessly. It can also provide a more stable connection while charging your phone.

10. Do I need a SIM card to use CarPlay or Android Auto?

No. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto use your smartphone’s connection. A SIM card is only needed if you want the head unit to have its own compatible mobile-data connection.

11. Can I download Android apps directly onto the screen?

Yes. Connect the head unit to Wi-Fi, a mobile hotspot or a compatible 4G SIM card to download supported apps from Google Play. App availability and performance may vary by region and software compatibility.

12. Can I use YouTube, Spotify, Netflix and other apps?

Compatible Android apps can be installed through Google Play. Video entertainment should only be used while the vehicle is safely parked and where permitted by local law.

13. Does GPS navigation work without a phone?

Yes. The head unit includes built-in GPS and supports compatible online and offline navigation apps. Download offline maps before travelling in areas without mobile service.

14. Does the head unit support internet connectivity?

Yes. The head unit includes a SIM card slot, allowing you to insert a compatible 4G SIM card for independent mobile-data access. This keeps the head unit connected to the internet without relying on your phone’s hotspot.

It can also connect directly to available Wi-Fi networks. When a SIM card is installed and mobile data is active, the head unit can create a Wi-Fi hotspot and share its internet connection with your phone, tablet or other devices.

SIM card compatibility depends on your carrier and local network bands. A separate mobile-data plan may be required.

15. Can I add a front or off-road camera?

Yes, but not all aftermarket cameras are compatible with this head unit. Please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm the camera’s video format, connector and compatibility with your selected configuration.

16. Can I customize the home screen?

Yes. The smart interface allows you to:

Switch between available themes

Available layouts and functions may vary by software version.

17. Are the physical buttons functional?

Yes. The physical buttons provide quick access to frequently used functions, making the system easier to operate while driving or travelling on rough roads.

18. Which configuration should I choose?

Standard — 4GB + 64GB
Suitable for wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation and basic daily use.

Recommended — 8GB + 128GB
Better for multitasking, frequent app use and smoother everyday performance.

Ultimate — 8GB + 256GB
Provides the most storage and the highest-level hardware configuration for users who frequently run apps directly on the head unit.

Some advanced hardware features shown on the product page may only be available with selected configurations.

19. Does installation require cutting the factory wiring?

No cutting or splicing is required on supported vehicles. The package includes a vehicle-specific wiring harness and CANBUS decoder for plug-and-play installation.

Many customers complete the installation using our video guide. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with automotive electronics.

20. What warranty and technical support are included?

The product includes a one-year warranty and installation assistance. If you experience a problem, please contact us with your order number, photos and a short video showing the issue.

It runs smoothly, and I have no complaints so far. However, the network connection is unstable; the cause is currently unknown, as the issue might stem from something other than the display itself. The airflow from the vent beneath the display is weak, meaning it takes a long time to cool down during the height of a Japanese summer.

We have now updated the accessories, which has resolved the airflow issue.

Updating a previous review. The item was caught in customs for about month but I did receive it. The instructions were tough to follow but after trial and error I was able to get everything working including 360 camera system. Great product!!

Never received the item. Been couples weeks. More concerned I was scammed by a Chinese company. Poor communication on tracking status. I think this site is fraudulent and will be protesting charges since item never received

I ran into a few issues during installation, but they were quickly fixed with the seller’s help. Honestly speaking, it’s way better than the original small factory screen. Being able to connect wireless CarPlay is absolutely satisfying!
